startup blues...

What is that .... "monday morning blues"....feelin difficult to work
after lazing around in the weekend..?
I am finding it tooo difficult to laze around after getting used to
working at a great pace in a startup....quite opposite to the first statement ..isnt it !?
Its still not very long here... and hope things change for the better coz
i am tired of changing myself for the better :).

* Adjusted pretty well to the new office.
* Having a blast at the house,with full family coming toegther after a
long long time.Still having some minor works to be done here and there
in the new house,other than that House is fully ready and furnished.
* Had one of the very memorable birthday,so far.With so many freinds around 20-25 schoolmates
and collegemates coming together for a birthday blast starting at 12.00 am ,spending the full day
together.Also squeezed in a couple of hours go to the temple with family.

Had a Nice Dinner yesterday night at FUSION.
The aftermath was completely spoiled by "PAHELI".
The Movie has stolen the concept from kannada super hit "NAGA MANDALA".
No good music...bad direction..shahrukh/rani at their worst.
You simply cant catch up with the movie...however hard u try...no
story line...complete nonsense...some booooth coming and getting somebody
pregnant is the whole story alltogether:)):)):)).

The Weather continues to be awesome and i am loving it :).

Has been in industry for quite sometime now..and
think i can definetely vouch for the title (work while u are at work).
There are all kind of feelings we get about all kind of things...when
we dont have much work we say that we are gettin bored...when we have lot of work
we say that its tooo hectic,kind of work is not good,the facilities are not good ,
the management is partial towards few ppl, the companies outside are payin a lot
more salray and what not......and amidst all thisdo we devote ourselves fully to work ??
if u dont like the kinda work or whatever dont make a noise about it....just do it
to ur best until u are in it and quit silently into what u like.
BUT BUT make sure that u are working to ur best while u are at work....you
will definetely feel proud of it one day and gain a lot which otherwise u are
definetely to miss.

was helluva busy with work and other personal schedule for almost a month now...

Was in office till 9.20 ..and suddenly my neighbour prashant suggested we shall
try our luck for the 9.30 "parineeta" show.....and we reached there 5 minutes late..\
...and to our luck we managed to get 2 tickets from a couple who decided to ditch the show
at the last momemt...
we entered teh hall at 9.40 and the movie had just started.......
saw saif ali khan on a piano as soon we entered ..and soon followed teh herione(Vidya Balan) of the
movie who came to get saif ready for some function...
Vidyas acting was goood....awesome u can say for a first timer....
The direction and music were ok....
The storyline was goood...
Rekha loooked still hot...for her special apperance...laalllaaa....

Definetely worth seeing once....

Nerds make better lovers...!!...!! interesting read.

Went to Bangalore for 12 days in 3 breaks last month...and the outcome ("Gruhapravesham" on monday the 30th ) was all the worth of hardships :).
Met all my relatives after a very long time....had a very nice time..will be cherished for a long time to come.
The work has become more than hectic along with all the pending work of the leaves i took....has been continously slogging for last 3-4 days.

The House is registered in my name now....
Things came to an happy ending after they scanned my photo..took my thumb impression..my signature along with eth former owner....
The tension prevailing for some 3 months now..finally came to an end.
Decided to have a house warming ceremony on 30th the monday..will be posting the scanned copy of the card here very soon...

One thing which can always make me happy and make me come out of
any state was/is/will be good food.
Was horribly bored the whole day and was in worst of the moods till
the food i ordered from lotus pond arrived...
And as to my expectations after being a regular costumer offlate..the food was simply
amazing..:):)...could easily break every single rice pie ( the only place where i think
i have eaten some rice like this is mainland china in bangalore)....the curry had its own
special taste and was perfectly goin hand in hand with eth awesome rice.

And now i have suddenly strted to enjoy the cool air outside (as if eth weather changed
for me all of a sudden)..!...and me goin out for a walk right after this :):)

bored....lonely...

Literally did nothing today ....woke up late in the morning...was so bored that skipped lunch...coz either
i had to cook or go out alone...finally mad some maagi around 5 as coudnt bear the hunger any more.....
Was almost the same case yesterday also...only difference being i was in office and had some ppl arnd me.

Just hopw/wish that..atleast one of ..my roomie and my neighbour roomies are there from next time...all of them were out on some or other work for both the days this weekend.

Flying down to bangalore this wednesday...and the long house process will mostly come to an end..i am registering the house on either thursday or friday....will be much much releived after that.

Analysis/Thinking.......

lot of learning/analysis/thinking for the past 5 odd months.

* "technically" : have done/learnt almost the double of what i did in my prev company for one and half years..

* "travelling and seeing places": saw 3 hill stations and a few other good places in and around delhi..that way
delhi is the centre for all the tourist places for north india....plan to cover up evertything during my stay here..
...planning a jammu trip this month end ( hopefully it works out :):))

* "life style" : this has taken a serious low.....lonely feeling...horrible weather...managing everything singlehandedly
starting from cleaning the house to etc etc...

* knowing the industry from the grass root levels....not sure of existance 2mrw....seeing a few layoffs...understanding the
"survival of the fittest" rule much better....."do you work and dont care or worry a lot about the rest"... "dont let
others use your back to shoot" -> had a couple of bitter expereiences where though everybody had the same concerns,i
was the one who spoke out and think kicked myself into bad shoes of management (always try to go as a group...and just
be quiet if you know that nothing is going to effect)...

Summary : the more you learn and understand/analyse from your past....stronger you move ahead !!

a lil busy weekend....

With house shifting plans on the schedule...this weekend was expected to be a lil busy and hectic..and it was.
Woke up pretty late on saturday...had lunch and slept again.started shifting in the evening and shifted only
half of the things..slept in the new house..as it was fully ready for occupation.
Woke up a lil early today ...cooked breakfast at home ...a breakfast in delhu after nearly 2 months!!...then went out shopping for the new house...had lunch at andhra bhanvan and was awesome...slept for a while later...and started for remaining of the shifting....and was done by 8 in the night... i am here right now browsing and bolggin..still to have my dinner.

Stayed in the previous 1 bedroom flat for almost 5 months(though not continously) now..have a lot of memeories abt my first stay in capital...about the late night parties we had...the cool weather i used to enjoy in thd balcony and a lot more...the only problem with that was ..it was on the 5th floor..and had started to get too hot this season ...and also that my parents may visit me next month and they wont be comforatble climbing 5 floors.

The current house is on the first floor and its a 2 bedroom house... i am sharin it with a collegue fo mine called roopesh.The house is lil better furnished than eth earlier one..and is brand new.Has a cool balconny and a couple of pther collegues are staying right below our house.....so expect it to be more exciting and funfilled than the earlier house.

Was discussing with a collegue regarding the options we are given and
getting to know more and more about it...turning out to be not so simple
as i had actually thought.

when i am still trying to come out of the hangover of the recent
vacation...lotsa work is comin with much stricter deadlines.
its now decided that we will have a working prototype of our
product on hp-ux within a month...
with only a 2 member team..its goin to be very tough time ahead to
get the things done on time.
Sitting late making the design doc and time estimation of individual
modules.
